Read with Pickle the Read Dog In-Person
Pickle is a trained therapy dog and visits with his guardian, Susan Olson. They are certified through Windwalker Pet Therapy. Pickle loves to listen to friends practice their reading with him!
Your child may bring a book they are currently reading or are welcome to pick one off our shelves to read. Pickle especially loves hearing stories about dogs!
This program meets in the Programming Room of the Children's Department on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 4pm: Jan 9, Feb 13, Mar 13, Apr 10, and May 8. You will need to register for each month separately. This provides opportunities for all kids to get a chance to read to Pickle.
